The staff was incredible, helpful, & hard-working. There were lots of delicious options for meals at the restaurant. If you plan to hike along the ridges, you could not find a better location to walk out the door and begin your trek.

It is in an absolutely stunning location, right over the glacial lake. With snow on the ground, it was picture-postcard perfect. We had one room overlooking the lake and another, slightly larger twin room with mountain views and a balcony. I would definitely recommend the latter for two people, as the rooms are quite small. Natalia on reception was incredibly busy but always friendly and helpful, and answered all my emails about the changing road conditions due to the snow. Thank you, Natalia!

The restaurant and bar staff looked utterly bored. They were grumpy whenever we asked them anything and seemed far more interested in their mobile phones, standing around and even vaping behind the bar. I have rarely experienced such poor customer service — except perhaps in those places where the staff are deliberately rude for entertainment. Unfortunately, I don't think that was the concept here! A sense of humour will definitely help if staying here.
