The first impression was how convenient and easy to get to. The second, and probably more impressive was the greeting I received immediately entering the lobby. The young lady at the desk (Kristan) had a big smile, welcomed me, joked with me, and got me checked in with ease. We arrived about 3 hrs before the regular check in time, but our room was ready so we were allowed to immediately get in. I retrieved my wife from our vehicle and our luggage…Kristan was waiting for us at the door, assisting us and welcoming my wife. We were extremely grateful and felt important. The room was amazing and adjacent to the terrace-which was nice asa well. As we went in and out several times, Kristan and another young lady, also named Kristan, were continually vibrant, cutting up with us, having fruitful conversation and simply being like friends.
These two ladies should be rewarded and are definitely Keepers!! The Gilmore is a great place to stay and we will return if we come back to Nashville. Thank you- Kristan & Kristan

We really like this hotel…happy hour, breakfast pastries, and the perfect location. Very walkable and everything you need is a short walk away. The staff were helpful and kind.

I was wanting something less country and more local, the Gilmore is in the area known as 12 South. Very walkable. It was about a mile walk to Belmont University campus, very pretty.
The room was nice but quirky. It was setup more like an extended stay than a hotel room. Fridge, stove, microwave. Also, the closet was obviously intended for a washer/dryer. No impact on comfort just not what I expected.
The SkyDeck is smaller than expected and has no bar or food, so bring your own. The courtyard is nice but noisy as the HVAC system is located there.
Parking is weird, unload under the hotel but then go look for street parking. $40 is high but I probably would have used it if the parking bill came with the room. You need to use a QR code, get an App, then pay. I found street parking 1 block away (blocks are short). Very few people are using the garage.

Great hotel overall! Very clean and stylish, doesn’t feel like your typical hotel. Great location! Only drawbacks were that the WiFi was a little spotty and there was very limited free parking on the road. The parking garage was 40 a night. But otherwise, the hotel itself was fantastic for a couples getaway
