Hotel Caldas and Hotel Manantial are situated in a private, beautifully maintained garden that creates a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful vibe. Surrounded by grand, epic mountain views, the air here is exceptionally fresh. Compared to staying in Boí or Taüll, this is by far the best location with the absolute best breakfast—it offers a wide variety of high-quality, clean food, and the entire dining environment is completely fly-free.
There are three swimming pools in total. Since the pool water flows directly down from the high mountains, some of the pools are uniquely cool, clear, and refreshing. At night, you can even enjoy a sky full of stars.
The only minor drawbacks are that pool towels cost €10 each, the bathroom lighting is a bit dim with the window placed very close to the showerhead, and the room facilities are somewhat dated (though still very clean). Also, you need to borrow a hairdryer from the front desk.
That said, the front desk staff provided excellent service. Having visited all three areas, I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again!
