You hear a lot obout Beliez city, but don't believe everything you hear. The stay is located in a safe area. We walked everywhere late and the people we met were friendly. One lady had us talking for an hour. The stay is in a well illuminated area, access close to everything. Door access is digital, good solid internet, never experienced a lag, fridge, plates, utensils, microwave. Host is friendly, helpful.
Not much not to like, any dislike would be based on above expectation. It's not the U.S.A. Once we understood that we saw the beauty amongst the city.

Mel was great and had very fast responses. It was definitely a very cute, cosy and comfortable place to stay and the location seemed residential and perfectly safe in the day time

Responsive and friendly host. A/C, microwave and ref worked well. Hot shower which is important. Near water taxi. 15 Belize dollars taxi fare from water taxi. 60 Belize dollars to airport.
All good for a one night stay on our last night in Belize.
