Appartamento ottimo per chi parte o arriva da Malpensa ad orari limite. Super anche il servizio navetta prenotabile ad hoc. Inoltre il personale è molto gentile e disponibile nell'accoglienza. Ci tornerò!

Everything was good and clean very helpful

Even though the WhatsApp messages weren’t very welcoming or accommodating, the lady who welcomed me upon arrival was sweet and hospitable. She didn’t speak much English, but still managed to be friendly and welcoming. The airport taxi shuttle arrived on time; the car was very comfortable and clean, and the driver was friendly and very polite.

The check-in messages on WhatsApp were quite impersonal and not very welcoming. The account also bore a completely different name from the booking.com profile page, so it took me a minute to piece together who was getting in touch (I stayed in several places over the course of 5 days, which is why this mattered). The WhatsApp check-in instructions were completely in Italian with no effort at all made to write in English. I don’t expect everyone to speak fluent English, but a small effort goes a long way - especially when your target customers are guests heading for the nearby airport. In addition to this, the messages also seemed very focused on making things more convenient for the B&B host, as opposed to making an effort to welcome the guest. At times, they even felt borderline rude. The apartment is much more basic than the photos suggested, and sadly both the bathroom and my bedroom weren’t particularly clean. There was a funny smell next to one of the beds – it reminded me of urine –, and my bedding didn’t feel like it was freshly washed. The rug in the bedroom also didn’t particularly inspire my confidence in its cleanliness. In the bathroom, the toilet was covered with a paper slip indicating it was “freshly cleaned”, which was very evidently not the case once you opened the lid. The bathtub/shower also wasn’t very clean, and the bath mat needed changing too. Finally, the airport shuttle seemed a bit overpriced too, considering I had paid €10 less for a different B&B taxi shuttle just a few days earlier (and that B&B was further away from the airport!).
