Quirky, friendly and good value
The pod has everything we needed, the kitchen is well set up and it’s a quirky and stylish with free parking. The bunkbeds are super cute and the farm shop breakfast was delicious. All of the staff we met were very friendly and helpful.
The kingsize bed is very firm and I prefer a softer mattress so found it uncomfortable and it’s really close to the bypass so you hear the traffic all night. Also, it is possible to walk to Cowbridge, the shortcut only takes 10 mins but where you cross the road is just off the bypass slip road so the cars fly round on quite a blind corner so it didn’t feel safe to cross the road with my toddler so we drove instead. Not a big deal but worth knowing if planning to walk with a young family.

Absolutely beautiful cabin close to all amenities needed and a short distance from numerous beaches that are fabulous for fossils or walking days out. The cabin had everything we needed and more. Make sure you say hello to Angus ( brown) Steve ( black) and Sheba (white) the 3 highland cows in the field on the left as you enter the property...they are perfect 😍.
For any able bodied people this isn't an issue at all but as I have to use a chair for long distances I was gutted to find that the pathway under the road to cowbridge village was gated off. Now this may of been something possible if I had enquired about access but I just drove instead. Otherwise you have a perfect little natural stairway to go down to Access the village on foot.

The pod is close to the main road which made it very noisy to sit out but once In the pod it was very quiet.

Comfortable, relaxing and easy!
From start to finish (actually before hand, with quick communication from booking and throughout our stay), we had a wonderful time! Cowbridge Cabins, Hazel Hobbit Pod was exceptionally clean, with plenty of amenities to help us during our stay (washing up liquid, sponges, toaster, coffee machine, hair dryer and more!!). After an SOS call, Morganne came quickly to our rescue Monday evening when I struggled to turn the hob on 🙈 !! The pod is literally a five min walk (down some very steep steps) into Cowbridge centre. We visited several little shops and stopped at the Tesco Express too! Each day we visited local attractions, easily joining the M4 or the local roads without issue - something I had been nervous about. Thank you for our little stay, we will be recommending, and are likely to visit again soon!

Wonderful place to stay for a small family
Excellent location minutes from Cowbridge. Pod was comfortable for my family of 4. Lovely sitting out on the deck. Beds comfortable. Pod cleaned to a high standard. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Attention to detail at the cabin was great, perfect if youre a coffee lover (not for me... tea girl all the way!
Check out time on website (booking.com) different from details in room. No hair dryer.
