Rowan Hobbit Pod at Cowbridge Cabins

Very clean, well equipped cabins. Comfortable bed.

No path to cabin door so had to walk across grass to car park - it rained heavily during our stay. Very small shower room. Shower not very powerful. No toilet roll holder. Problem with water - not suitable for drinking though bottled water had been left in the fridge. A message explaining the water issue had been stuck to the cabin door saying ok for washing but not drinking had blown off & fallen under entrance steps - pure fluke we spotted it.

Lovely location and the small pod had absolutely everything necessary for a pleasant stay

On our arrival we had some trouble discovering how to open the pod as we arrived after 6pm and there were no staff on site and none of the available contact numbers answered our call. After managing to open the door with the help of a neighbour visitor there was a problem with the lock and for 2 days we were unable to lock the pod before someone finally came to fix it.

Lovely hosts , great location, nice privacy

A well equipped pod next to a lovely farm shop. We ate breakfast there, which was excellent. Good walking distance to Cowbridge.

Too noisy, next to a busy road and very poor internet, which the TV worked off (no tv aerial)? If it was possible to park your car near the pod, this would have helped, to keep your stuff in, with no wardrobes or place to store your suitcase.
