Hotel Star

Location was great. Near subway Jongno3-ga, Insadong Street, Tapgol park and lots of food places.

The room was clean and decor average.

Posizione ottima, camera pulita.

Personale scortese, camera completamente buia, per avere la luce solare bisognava aprire la finestra. Asciugamani non sufficienti. Doccia malfunzionante, funzionava solo il doccino e non il soffione.

Bathroom had no mat or place to dry yourself seperate from bathroom and bedroom

Great location, walkable to insadong, ikseandong, and myongdong, and gwangjang market. Also close to dongdaemun. Easy subway access. Staff was nice. There's free coffee in the lobby and a kettle in the room. Size of the room was nice compared to other places I've stayed in Seoul, even for more money. Overall good value for money, but there has to be a bare minimum of cleanliness which I wasn't satisfied.

Cleanliness. Upon arrival I found hair in the sink and in the bathtub too. Bedsheets were worse for the wear (stains in some areas) and I found the bed to be a bit itchy (I have dust allergies). I think the sheets need replaced and a need to vacuum the bed sometimes for dust. I would honestly give this place a 10 if cleanliness were improved.
