Pocono Mountain Retreat

Location and nice layout of the house to accommodate up to 12.

The furniture is falling apart, the sofas have recliners and both a completely broken no one could sit comfortably, the kitchen counter stools are broken, the toilet seats were sliding all over the place/they are broken or not fitted well, the kitchen did not have enough dishes (there were 2 dinner plates, 6 bowls, and 2 smaller plates), not enough utencils, or glasses to accommodate our group of 10, the TV in the living room did not work, only one TV remote had batteries, others were all dead, and there were no spare batteries, the fireplace did not work, there was litter all over the parking area outside, the door going down to the basement, from the kitchen, was locked with a combination lock but the lock wasn’t working and we could not get in, until we found an open window in the basement which we used to get in to the basement, and then managed to open the door from the other side, the house is not cleaned well, lots of dirt on the floors, and there’s so much dust everywhere, we were all suffering from dust allergies. If they fix all this up, it could be a lovely place.

Myself and my friend group loved the property, loved the house. The location right on a lake was amazing, the views, being right in the woods was awesome. The rooms were comfortable, the space was way larger than we expected and was a great space to just relax and hangout.

There were a few things that were broken when we got there, but it didn't effect our stay in any real impactful way.

Me and my friends had the most amazing time in this cabin, it was very clean and comfortable. The rooms are well set, kitchen had all the utensils we needed and the view from the living room was very worth it I can’t wait to come back in the summer and be able to enjoy the lake

The property was gorgeous. The house was big and with an open space, perfect to hang out with the family. The fireplace was a great idea to enjoy the evenings.

The property needs a deep cleaning. All the house was dusty and dirty. There were dirty laundry all over the closets. Even most of the dishes weren’t clean. The coffee maker was disgusting. We were about to buy a new coffee maker. Luckily we brought a lot of cleaning supplies with us. The main tv didn’t have remote control so we were not able to control the volume. The bbq grill was rusty. The communication with the host was ok but can improve, since we have some issues with the house and were not fixed while we were there. The sheets were dirty as well.
