Jackton Distillery Steadings

excellent stay allround

Spacious, comfortable 2 bed apartment within driving distance of Glasgow. The beds were comfy and the shower was excellent and the TV had many channels. Access out-of-hours was easy. Sadly I didn't have time to visit the distillery itself but it looked very appealing!

A couple of extras would have been nice: air conditioning (instead of a boiler cupboard heating up the kitchen area) and recycling bins.

Loved the contemporary decor.

There could be more glassware for guests of us guests. A coffee table or other table in the living room would be nice.

The accommodation was easy to find and there was plenty of parking available. The apartment was impeccably cleaned, to the extent that it appeared new (although I was told the accommodation had been opened 2 years previously) and well appointed. A request for a dining table and chairs was quickly and efficiently handled. The apartment was quiet (although there were few other guests during our stay) and the bedroom blackout blind was very effective.

The pre-arrival requirement to sign as having accepted the Terms and Conditions was very unusual (and difficult to accomplish at a desktop computer), when simply advising guests of the ‘House Rules’ would normally be sufficient. The cooking facilities in the 2-person apartment were limited to a microwave oven toaster and kettle, which was not obvious from the Booking.com website images or description, but this was not a major problem.
