We liked many things about this place. The island itself is stunning. It is full of greenery, with amazing views in every direction. The villa we stayed in was excellent: plenty of space, a private pool, well-functioning air conditioning, nothing to complain about really. Food options in restaurants were fairly decent, if somewhat limited in variety (but it's a small island). The gym is the best hotel gym I've been to: all sorts of cardio machines, a squat rack with a bench and a barbell with weights, a few weight training machines, free weights (dumbbells, kettlebells), gymnastics equipment.

We found several aspects of our week-long stay perplexing. While the location has great potential, a lack of activities and proper management makes it suitable for only a 1-2 night stay before boredom sets in. Here were our main issues: Kids’ Club Limitations: The facility is excellent but operates on restrictive hours (10am–5pm). One day, we were kicked out at 4pm because the sole staff member had to leave to run a beach activity. Staff Cluelessness: The staff is friendly but largely uninformed. When asked about island excursions advertised on their website, a staff member told us they didn't exist. We eventually had to ask multiple people and visit a neighboring resort just to figure out how to book them. Miscommunication: Finding the kids' club closed at 5:15pm, a staff member promised to fetch the keys for us so our daughter could play. After waiting, a different staff member arrived just to tell us it was officially closed and they didn't even have the keys. Maintenance & Stock Issues: A third of the beach equipment (like banana boats and catamarans) and the swimming pontoon were out of order. Additionally, restaurant dishes were frequently out of stock, which you only learned after trying to order. Odd Minibar Policy: Non-alcoholic minibar items were supposedly free but never automatically refilled. When we requested a second refill during our trip, they restocked it but suddenly warned us we’d be charged for any future items. It felt like they made the rule up on the spot. Overall, despite the beautiful space and nearby islands, the resort lacks the thoughtful management needed for a longer vacation.
