The Modern Retreat

Great location - close to restaurants and the university. Also very clean and comfortable.

Nothing

A lovely, spacious and newly renovated house with two shower/ bath rooms! We, as a family, had a very comfortable stay -popping out to nice cafes, a bakery and a restaurant just around a corner in the very pleasant neighbourhood. The owner is exceptionally generous and attentive. Thank you for the hospitality, Shyam. We highly recommend it!

The house is located on a quiet street but very close to the shops, bars, cafes on nearby Queens Road. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The host was responsive and helpful whenever I contacted him. We will definitely stay here again when we visit our daughter in Leicester.

Only a minor point but some lamps would be nice to soften the lighting in the main living areas.

We had such a lovely stay here and would definitely come back again. The house is beautiful, modern, really clean and exactly as it looks in the pictures on Booking.com — if anything, it was even nicer in person! Everything was spotless and the house had everything we needed. It felt really comfortable and homely, and we were very happy with our stay. Shyam was also lovely to deal with, really helpful and quick to respond. He even allowed us a later checkout at no extra cost, which we really appreciated. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Leicester and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. 😊 10/10 from us! ❤️

Honestly, nothing. We had a lovely stay and couldn’t fault the property.
