If you're up for an authentic experience, don't mind basic sleeping conditions and cold showers, this is the place! I loved every minute of it and it was definitely a highlight of my trip (spent a month in Koh Chang). Loved the location - perfectly positioned to explore by bike. Super quiet at night. Glorious sunrises. Fantastic hosts - lovely family. A selection of activities on offer. Great seafood at affordable prices. Cute kid. Nice views. Very chill.

A little hard to communicate - it would be so great if hosts worked on their English, especially that they're charging 2x as much as their neighbours for similar conditions. English is so easy to learn with AI language buddy and YouTube these days. Didn't love the bed - rock hard, used blankets to soften it a little. The AC unit was a monster, really loud, no way to sleep with it on, even with earplugs (a fan was enough though in the end). Mosquito nets would be an easy solution, so one could let the lovely sea breeze in. Not a lot of privacy, but somehow that felt appropriate. Overall, I definitely recommend a stay here as an experience.

Man wurde mit frischem Sushi begrüsst, was die Besitzer anschliessend auf verschiedenen Märkten verkaufen! Frischer bekommt es niemand! Die Lage daher auch Top und gab etwas einblick in das Leben der Einheimischen da ich nicht weit von der Unterkunft ein Streetfoodfestival erlebt habe wo ich einer der einzigsten Touristen war! Das sah man auch an den unglaublich guten Essenspreisen! Ich komme wieder das ist sicher!
