Loved our stay at The Hide, relaxing and peaceful break with beautiful views over Rutland Water. Loved watching the sunset with a glass of wine in the hot tub! All you can hear is birdsong, just wonderful, Very clean inside the Shepherd Hut and well equipped. The induction hob was fantastic! The welcome gift was a nice touch too. Very spacious area for our dog to roam. we would definitely book again.
Only disappointing part was there was no gas bbq even though there was a gas bottle and the website stated they were provided and on inspection the other Shepherd Huts appeared to have them plus there was no washing up liquid. Expected this to be supplied as a sponge and tea towell was.
