Kensington Apartment

Location, location, location! Can’t get any better. Only 5 minutes to a main train station, it was so easy to get from Heathrow airport to the apartment by train and to travel to any area of London by bus or train. Such a beautiful, safe area to stay. Owner is extremely accommodating, allowed us to check in 2 hours early and no pressure to leave by a certain time.

The weather was very hot when we stayed and we are not used to staying places without air conditioning. Bathroom also needs some repairs.

Great location. Easy access to the apartment and owner communication was easy. Great open plan shared space. Good value for money for the area.

A few niggly details, bathroom needs a bit of a tidy, some of the kitchen equipment was dirty and one bedroom only had two blankets rather than proper bedding but didn't have a huge impact on our stay.

This was Very spacious apartment, myself and my family stayed here and it was perfect size

Great location, super safe and quiet neighbourhood. Apartment is safe within nice building with code on door. Close to South Kensington Underground station. Short walk to Buckingham palace and hyde park. Close to the museums. Communication with host was great. I have provided feedback to him after leaving.

Cleanliness was poor. Cigarette smell in appartment and cigarette butts under one bed. Broken tiles in bathroom on floor which are covered by a floor mat, broken and missing tiles in other parts of bathroom, unsafe taped up PowerPoint in bedroom. A pair of socks and undies that were not ours in the wardrobe and opened food in the freezer. Mould on the sheets in main bedroom. Towels left in the washing machine, not sure if they were clean or not, we didn't check. Not enough towels provided for the amount of people booked, however we didnt communicate this with the host as we were only there 2 days. If we were there longer we would have left. I do not think this accommodation is fit for purpose and should not be listed for rent until issues are fixed
