The accommodation was high-quality and spotlessly clean. The owner was very friendly, engaged, and had great tips for us. The accomodation features a dog-friendly, fully fenced garden where our two dogs could run and play. Due to the very dense development in Pompeii, it is hardly possible to walk dogs outdoors in nature. The accommodation’s garden was therefore a major advantage for us as dog owners. The owner charged no additional cleaning fee for our dogs. The archaeological excavation sites are very close by (approx. 8 Minutes by car) and we could leave our dogs in the appartment while exploring the antique Pompeii.
There is absolutly nothing to complain about the appartment, only about the location Pompeii in general: Pompeii as a city is still sinking in trash on the streets. Even in the "nature" on Mount Vesuvius, garbage is buried almost everywhere in the forest. We were very shocked by the overall impression of the city of Pompeii and the amount of trash everywhere on the streets. Having said that, however, the excavation site was definitly worth a visit and this appartment was the best location we could have imagined for our stay. Thank you!
