Domus DEA Holiday Home

Vincenzo and Adele were perfect hosts who made our stay in Pompeii like a home from home. The spacious and air-conditioned apartment was a joy to return to after exploring the amazing historical 'Dig' and the local pizzeria (2 minutes) was our evening go to for refreshing ice cold drinks and freshly baked takeaways. Swimming in the pool both to cool from the heat of the sun, then watching the sunset over 'Vesuvio' before the stars filled the night sky will be our favourite memory to treasure...

We have nothing to write here...everything we needed was available...even 'Top Gear' in Italian to make us laugh before each good night's sleep 😴

A lovely property, very clean, great facilities and a really warm welcome from the host. We were brought 2 cold beers and crisps on arrival and there a few treats and water for us as well. We had sole use of the garden and pool which was wonderful after a day exploring Pompeii in the heat. It’s a short walk from the station but our host offered to collect us. It’s also an easy walk to Pompeii archeological park and the town centre. It’s a nice quiet area of the town and the garden has Mount Vesuvius as a backdrop. The house had everything we needed, good shower and the air con worked really well. Our host was really helpful and gave us a map and helped get our bearings and where the supermarket was and restaurants. She also kept in touch to check everything was ok. We couldn’t have asked for more, I would definitely recommend.

The four of us slept in beds on the Mezzanine level, myself, husband and 2 sons aged 9 and 11. This wasn’t a problem there was plenty of space and the boys had a single bed each. We were able to watch TV on a night and have a glass of wine without any issue.
