Clean and tidy, plenty of room. Good wifi
Twin beds put together to make a double. Hot water booster for 1 hour didnt get much hot water? So we didnt attempt a bath. Shower worked fine as was electric.
Not being from Scotland did not understand what bins to put different recycling in and the instructions were not clear if we were to put bins out on certain days. There didnt seem to be a bin for general rubbish outside assuming it would be black?

The Swiss Cottage is fantastic! It's in a beautiful location with the river accessable via a gate from the garden, we had a lovely walk down by the river bank during our stay. There is a handy shop over the road for getting food and snacks for days out. The kitchen is well supplied with utensils and cooking pans/trays we were able to make substantial meals while there, we had the log burner on most evenings during our stay it was a home from home! The beds were very comfortable and the whole cottage was clean and tidy on arrival, the cottage itself is just beautiful, you can access the balcony around the cottage and see the river below. For us (family of 4, 2 adults one 11 year old and one 6 year old) it was perfectly located as not too far to travel to lots of locations. I would love to visit again!! The after service was great too, we left something at the cottage and they are sending it back to us.
