The location is very easy to get to the main central locations of Milan. The arrival process is really slick and efficient without a Host welcome. It requires a phone ideally with data to activate or alternatively credit to call the Host. The property is basic as to be expected with a better price similar to Hotels of a near standard. It is very comfortable with high standards of cleanliness. Shampoo and soap was provided along with a hairdryer. Host was quick to answer to all queries.

While cleanliness is fantastic, maintenance is lacking. The oven glass door was at risk of breaking so a note was left not to use it. Having contacted our Host, we were advised to be careful but could use it. We managed to use once but would have liked an actual alternative option for a four night stay in a flat, the idea was not to be out for three meals each day as a Hotel. With young kids, risking the glass door breaking was not a situation we were happy to be left with. It was close to Christmas so understood not easy to source a repair but having been listed as a fully functioning kitchen, we would have been happy if a Microwave was at least provided as an alternative to only a stove. The shower drain was not working properly so we had to be careful to not flood the bathroom when showering. Previous water damage shows around the door frame. Toilet seat was off on one side and not repaired prior to stay or when reported. A vacuum or broom should be provided to tidy/ clean. We requested a late checkout which was declined but informed we could stay until cleaners arrived. The cleaners arrived slightly before checkout time so no real advantage provided after 4 nights of stay. The whole process is efficient but takes out all Hospitality of the stay so it depends on what you are looking for as different to other rented properties for us previously. The renting app requiring kids to have selfies with passports is a little too much and better system should be in place if comparing to what Hotels require for Italy, especially for young kids needing to have to do selfies.
