Vederea la mare și apus e superbă!

Drumul de acces ~ 1 km, e accidentat și distruge nu doar caroseria mașinii, dar și crengile zgârâie mașina pe părțile laterale. Niciun semn de direcție spre vila, poți să ajungi la o prisaca de albini în vârful muntelui în loc de vila. Facilitățile la vila de o calitate proasta. Podea vopsită și cojita de soare, cu rugină, periculos de alunecoasă. “Verdeata” din landsaft, e uscată și neîngrijită, cu multe insecte, inclusiv am pierdut o zi din cauza roiului de sute de albine care au invadat piscina și terasa. La întrebarea pe care am adresat-o proprietății, ca am putea face șoc anafilactic din cauza înțepăturilor și nici nu avem cum să ajungem la spital pe așa drum accidentat, mi s-a reproșat ca albinele sunt protejate de lege. Bine ca peste două zile au stropit totuși si am putut savura terasa. Piscina când am venit era tulbure și verde, s-a curatat la a 5 zi de ședere, oricum copii au ajuns cu erupții purulente pe piele pe care le tratez și până acum. Persoana care a venit să “ rezolve” problemele apărute Armando, foarte arogant, doar a umblat încălțat prin camere, inclusiv în baie pe prosoape, și a vorbit la telefon tot timpul pe chestii personale, a plecat fără să rezolve nimic, doar a întrebat continuu “it’s ok?!”.

We are a Greek family of 5 and we have travelled extensively in Greece and Europe, as we live in Luxembourg. Obviously we have been to all major islands and stayed at great hotels. But this place now ranks in my top-5 all time (which includes the Shard, Sani and a couple of other landmarks). We stayed in villa A3, which is probably the best in terms of location and design/decoration. Check the pictures in their web site. Looks like AI, so we were managing expectations, but it is exactly like that. This is a fully equipped house where you could live forever. There is A/C in every space, all equipment (dishwasher, 65in TV, 200mbps internet/WiFi, etc) and then the outside space, with fully equipped barbecue and all seating areas that you will never need to use. And then there is the swimming pool and the view to the sea and the sunset (the orientation is straight west). Just perfect. The villa sits just above two of the best beaches in Greece (P.Katsiki and Egremni) and we really couldn't be bothered to go. For 6 days, we just looked at the sea from quite high. Couldn't even read our books. For food, Athani about a mile away has a couple of very good restaurants (not talking tourist trap good here, but good for locals). If you want to explore, there are others within 30min. The interaction with the managing team was great, Peli was very helpful and the teams of cleaners, gardeners and handymen very discrete and quick. They seem to be doing a lot in the background and we got the feeling that the group of villas is well managed.

The road. The elephant in the room, as it is mentioned in many reviews. It is a 1.2km dirt/gravel uphill road from Athani. To be honest, it is not as bad as expected. But i have seen really bad roads in Greek islands. I have a very low car with stiff suspension and 255/40/20 tyres and i really had no problem with it. It is mostly flat and they work on it every week, but there are small bumps, so you cannot go fast as your suspension would suffer. It took me around 7min each time. Of course if you have a standard car with regular suspension or anything resembling an SUV, you can just fly through it. Anybody who has driven in real bad roads in Greece, where you can really do damage to your car, will just find it fine. The bugs. The management have done a great job with the spraying, so we found much less that expected, as this is not in a residential area. There are zero flies, mosquitos and cockroaches. There are bees (the area produces honey and you should buy a lot of it) that cannot be harmed, but they do mind their own business with the flowers and didn't feel bad to have them around. Sometimes 3-4 bees were flying in the garden and they don't approach the food so we could eat outside. Found about 2 grasshoppers every day, mostly dizzy from the poison and just ignored them. Also 3-4 spiders, no bigger than 2-3cm. The humidity. It is really humid, nothing dries up inside the house (but they do in the sun). The property offers dehumidifiers and the A/C has a relevant program. Also there is a drier.

1- tesis e gidiş bir köy yolundan bile berbat aşırı kötü idi 2- tesis de asansör var ancak kullanım dışı idi/ asla asansörsüz tercih edilecek bir yer değil Çok merdiven inip çıkmak zorunda kaldık 3- ev inanılmaz kirli idi 4- internet baglantısı hiç çalışmadı çok çabaladık ve zor durumda kaldık 5-aşırı böcek vardı akrep bile bahçede var 6-başta bırakılan havlular temizlik adı altında basit bir gösteri ile alındı ve tekrar bırakılmadı 7-üst kat banyoları odanın içine su akıttığından kullanılamıyor başka misafir odasına gitmeniz gerekiyor
