Gialos Villas 1-2 With a Private Pool

Beautiful villa with private gardens. Felt so peaceful. Wonderful place for my parents and children for a lovely family holiday. Few minutes to the beach with some lovely tavernas.

Beautiful villa in a perfect location , close to the beach and the many restaurants and cafes, shops and whatever one might want during the holiday . Villa is clean and comfortable, pool is bliss and the garden gives plenty of options for sun , shade , dining with the charm that you always get in Greece. For us first holiday in Lefkada so travelled round and across, from one Coast to the other and the max is about 1hr . Ismini is the perfect host , available at any time , quick to respond to any questions you might have . There is a diary in the villa starting in 2010 and it was lovely to read it , nice touch . We had the pleasure to meet the visiting cat , best behaved , stayed outside the property and very thankful for treats . We had a fabulous two relaxing weeks at Gialos Villa

Nothing to dislike , only one suggestion in relation to the parking- there are two/three parking spaces on the drive for the two villas - marking them accordingly will hopefully stop other cars using them thinking they're part of the free parking . On a couple of occasions we found ours taken .

Villa is very comfortable with large private pool. There is one bedroom, one living room and one bathroom on the first floor, while second bedroom and second bathroom are on the second floor. Second floor also features one large terrasse overlooking the pool and the mountain. Kitchen is well equipped with all utensils you can think off, including small, but functional dishwashing machine. Washing machine is also present under the stairs completing all the necessary home appliances you may need on the vacation. Private yard with very soft grass and several sunbeds and sun umbrellas is in front of the house. Pool is very clean and has automatic timer for water pumps starting somewhere at 9am and shutting down at 7pm. Every second day automatic water sprinkler system starts overnight giving fresh green looks to the grass in front of the house.

Only few small things – no tablets for dishwashing machine nor detergent for washing machine – nothing that you cannot buy for few euros in nearby market. Too loud water sprinkler system having nasty habit to wake you up in the mid of the night.
