Private Getaway - Hot Tub - Rural Charm

Sparkling clean everywhere, good location, great views from the property and the hottub itself. Perfect if you want home from home. Very good value for money.

Dripping tap in kitchen, extra £100 for the hottub (would prefer if this was included in overall price)

Booked the property for the remote location but ease of getting into Swansea - this was great and the view was lovely too. The log burner was also great once we found where the wood was stored. The property was nice and warm in the cold weather and the Christmas decorations were still up.

The property falsely advertises the use of a hot tub. Even though the hot tub is listed on the property title and with no mention of addition costs in the amenities page it is only available with prior notice at an extra cost of £100.00. I was very shocked to hear this as it was one of our reasons for choosing the property, hugely disappointing. It also should be noted that the hot tub is a shared facility and not actually within the property itself - so if you were hoping for some downtime while the children were in bed it’s not the one! 1 toilet roll was given for 4 adults staying over 3 nights 🫣. Also no toiletries so make sure you take your own! … one last bug bear… a drippy kitchen tap. It’ll drive you potty!! I so wanted this to be lovely as we visit family in Swansea 3-4 times a year and up until now have always stayed in an apartment on the marina but wanted to treat ourselves to some farm cottage coziness. However, after this experience will be going back to what we know and not paying double the amount for disappointment.

Comfortable place, clean. Good fun in the hot tub. Great weekend.
