Nice size apartment large rooms high ceilings.
2 bathrooms
Close to amenities 20/25 min walk to city centre.
The Entrances to the apartment were in need of repair. And certainly not what was expecting when booked. (It didn’t help that refuse bins were left uncollected.)
Parking- (two spaces reason for booking here)back space had workmen’s items in them limiting parking for more than 2 cars and front entrance bush needs cutting back. Upstairs flat also used these and had a large van which took space up.
The hot water system was confusing as the radiators were on. But only cold water if heating switched off despite note & video saying didn’t need boiler on for hot water. (Owner spoken to and talked through on phone & future gas engineer booked to check)
Dishwasher not working. ( spoke to owner again should be getting someone out to fix)& no bowl or plug in kitchen sink.
You could hear the footsteps on floor from upstairs apartment.
Sash windows -awkward and one not working.
No hand towels.
Concern no fire extinguishers or fire blankets in property .

The property was a good size with 2 spacious double bedrooms. The living room was comfortable, and the kitchen was well appointed.
It was lovely and clean and walking distance from the centre
A couple of coat hooks and a small bin in the bathroom would have been useful

Absolutely loved our stay here! The apartment is in a brilliant location—just a short stroll to the heart of Exeter, which made exploring super easy. The space was ideal for our family, with more than enough room to relax. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful. Having two parking spaces was a huge bonus, and the large en-suite bathroom was lovely. We also noticed ongoing improvements in the shared areas, which shows real care is being put into the property. We’ll definitely be back!

It was a fantastic base for my recent business stay in Exeter. The apartment was spacious, clean, and very well-equipped for both work and relaxation. Its proximity to the city centre was ideal, yet the area remained quiet enough for focused work. Reliable Wi-Fi, comfortable furnishings, and the added benefit of two bathrooms, including an en-suite made the stay feel more like home. There was also secure parking for our van, which is rare and very useful. Booking and communication were seamless, and it’s great to see the communal areas of the building being upgraded. Highly recommended for professionals visiting the area.

The apartment was spacious and well appointed. Two bathrooms was great for two guests. It is well located close to the city centre but not in it.
The exterior of the building was shabby and the rear "garden" unkempt; we guessed that you just own the apartment we stayed not the whole building. Parking was very tight for two cars although it did work thanks to the co-operation of residents of other parts of the building.
There was no hot water in the showers on the last morning; there had been hot water before then.

This was a self catering property so breakfast was not applicable. The location was within walking distance of the City centre and parking was available immediately outside the property. There were supermarkets within easy walking distance including a mini-market almost adjacent and open until 10 each evening.
The property is one end of a Regency style terrace but despite others in the terrace being well maintained, this property is extremely run down to the point of dilapidation. The entrance porch, hallway and foyer can only be described as squalid. Carpets on the stairs of the communal areas (the property is divided into 3 flats) are filthy and detract from the appearance.
Inside the flat, (first floor) things are little better with most of the internal paintwork in a very poor condition and generally dirty. In the kitchen there was no microwave, no bowl or plug in the sink and the fridge door was unattached to the cabinet.
The living area was extremely sparsely furnished with only one small sofa and no lampshade ! Attempts had been made in the bathrooms to upgrade but were let down by mouldy grouting and a lack of toilet paper ! The flat has old sash windows throughout but sadly these were in very poor condition and could either not be opened or refused to stay up - there is potential for injury. Some electrical sockets were in a dangerous condition and the smoke alarm had been disconnected and left without a battery, some light bulbs were missing. the 'garden' was a disgrace and totally unusable.
My overall impression was that this flat had been roughly used by students and then 'flashed up' to put it on the letting market. The description given in the prospectus is deliberately misleading even to the point of some photos being of an entirely different property. I have used Booking.com for many years and have always been satisfied but my experience with this property has dented my confidence. In my opinion this property should be removed from their books until some serious improvements have been made.
