Michelangiolo Appartment

The apartment is perfect! It is comfortable with a lovely kitchen and bathroom and nice bedroom. It wa much larger than many places we have stayed so it was nice to spread out a bit. The apt. Is centrally located so a short walk to the Uffizi and other hot spots. Sofia, our host, was lovely and attentive.

Not a negative, but there are a lot of stairs to the apartment. Thankfully my teen handled my way-too-packed suitcase.

Super emplacement dans un quartier bobo à l'écart de l'hyper centre touristique. L'appartement est grand et agréable, le balcon est un gros plus.

Un lave-vaisselle aurait été super pratique ! La chambre donne sur une rue un peu bruyante.

Great location. Away from the craziness of the city center but not too far from anything. Very clean and well equipped. Sofia was wonderful.

Es handelt sich um ein geräumiges, geschmackvoll renoviertes Appartment zur Selbstversorgung. Optimal für 2 Personen, ein grosses Sofabett wäre für eine 3 oder 4 Person vorhanden. Was uns sehr gut gefallen hat, war der kleine Balkon mit Blick auf den Innenhof. Wunderbar für den Kaffee am Morgen. Gegenüber gibt es eine Trattoria mit einem idyllischen Innenhof, wo wir sehr gut gegessen haben. Ein kleiner Conad Supermarkt und kleinere Restaurants sind in der Nähe. Die Gehdistanz in die Altstadt ist kein Problem, zum Dom etwa 20 Minuten. Auch der Bahnhof war zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich, hat uns in der Wohnung in Empfang genommen (KEIN anonymes Self-Check-In). Alles in allem: Sehr empfehlenswert!

Keine Mängel in dem Sinn, aber man sollte zwei Dinge wissen: Die Wohnung ist im zweiten Stock in einem alten Haus mit einem entsprechenden Treppenhaus. Für uns war das kein Problem, aber wer Gehprobleme hat oder einen Kinderwagen die Treppen hochtragen muss, könnte an seine Grenzen kommen. Das Schlafzimmer liegt an einer Strasse, da kann es bis zum Abend oder dann wieder am Morgen schon lauter werden. Dafür ist man halt mitten im pulsierenden Leben!
