About this house rental
Private house a block and half off the beach with multiple beach accesses. Located in the heart of Gulf Shores & walking distance to many shops, bars & restaurants. 4 bedroom/ 5 full bath, 1 outside shower. Black out shades in all bed rooms and TVs. The house sleeps 16 (with use of futon/ couch/ trundle bed etc.) 1 pack & play also provided & one high chair. Beach view from both upstairs & downstairs deck. Great large deck for hanging out, tan or eat on.
Entertainment & restaurants all within walking distance from the house: The hangout, The pink pony, Bahama bobs, Desotos kitchen, Papa Rocco’s, Crico’s pizza & subs, Shrimp basket, Mikee’s.
Dollar store & pier 33 are .5 mile from the house for quick grocery needs & helps avoiding traffic.
The town is very bike friendly. Some of the many souvenir stores close by are Surf Style, Souvenir city, the Purple octopus, Island Girl, Alvin’s Island, Gulf shores Trading company are just a few blocks away. The house has a dock located infront of it on the canal side that gives you lagoon access if you bring/ rent a kayak or canoe or just want to fish of the dock.

Location was awesome, pool was great, and it was nice to have a whole house with no noisy people above, below or beside us. Watching the sunsets off the decks was great, and being able to walk short distances to the beach and places to eat was a big plus.

We had a large group, there was 14 of us total, and this house was perfect. Everyone had plenty of room and privacy. The property was clean and beautiful. We did have a small problem with the AC late one evening, but the owners were amazing, stayed in contact with us and sent a technician right away. It is easy walking distance to the beach and the pool was amazing. This house is even more beautiful in person and the hosts made check in and all communication very simple and easy. I highly recommend this property and we hope to stay there again in the future. On a side note there is a gator living in the little fishing area right off the dock so just be aware with small children. My dad was fishing and it kept haunting the dock as he was casting. But definitely a 10 out of 10 property, we loved it!

PROS: The neighborhood was peaceful. The host was super nice. The property was unbelievable! We were a group of ten and there was plenty of room. One of the rooms didn't get used. The pictures of the pool do not do it justice. The walk to the beach was our biggest concern but it was only like 5 mins away. CONS: The picnic tables on the balcony were uncomfortable (the only outdoor seating) and we had a couple of people get cut by the bolts. There was also a whirling roar in the upstairs master suite. I believe it was coming from the intake vent to the ac unit above the bed. (It was easy to ignore though) However, this was a very cherished trip with my family & it is such a wonderful place. Highly recommend!
