Jungle Hideaway Villas 2 - Pool View

The location was fantastic, deep inside a small lane among the rice paddies. It was a very quaint and romantic corner of Ubud. Just 2 minutes walk from the property was a great cafe Uma Coffee with great coffee and an amazing rice field view. We enjoyed breakfast there every morning.

While it's nice to stay among the rice paddies and enjoy a quiet time, if you want to go into town, it's actually quite a long walk, almost 1km, to get out to the main street. You can order a motorbike taxi but if you are 2 or more people, that can be inconvenient to have to order multiple rides.

The property’s location was lovely. A lovely cafe just down the road that does excellent coffee and pastries. The host Made was very very helpful and friendly. He was always on hand if we had any questions and gave us great advice on what to do and where to go. We saw monkeys and plenty of wildlife from outside the balcony as well.

Quite a few bugs at night I must say. So if you stay make sure to like the incense candles outside the doors and close the curtains.

Absolutely amazing. Wow, it’s like living in a luxury jungle only a short scoot from Ubud centre. Also dozen of cafes and restaurants an easy stroll. The new owner is an affable Aussie who gave me an extra night free for no other reason than to make me happy. Unique location as always t backs onto a small river. Newly renovated, clean, cool with a spectacular view. You’d be mad not to give Jungle Villas a try while the new owners are offering half price until they build up the resort’s reputation
