New Gudauri Two Bedroom Apartment Neo Building

New facility. Large rooms. Ski in&out is perfect! All facilities you need for week skiing with kids. Enough space to put your stuff. Ski depot (for small extra fee), ski rental within same building. All great! Supermarket around the corner. And I like to specifically mention that the staff was so kind and helpful! (while in most places (restaurants etc) in Gudauri staff don’t know of the word hospitality)

We liked all! Only small comment is that the water pressure of the shower could be improved.

Location of the property is great. It's ski-in and ski-out, there are two methods to get back to the apartment: 1. Through an off-piste large hill 2. To cut through a cafe off of a blue route We also liked how the apartment was warm, the water pressure was great, and it is close to everything.

There were a couple of small details that prevented the apartment from being an all-star apartment: 1. You could tell the apartment was rushly renovated. There were random holes in the ceilings and wires dangling, and the curtain rod in one of the rooms was just flat out broken. 2. There were some cutlery that was needed that we didn't have, such as a wine opener, and the cutlery was just randomly placed in the kitchen. A lot of the drawers were empty and it just felt like everything was freshly placed. 3. They only gave us one and a half rolls of toilet paper for four people over four days lol, and the hand soap was a watered-down version of hand soap. These things are nitpicky but it prevented the stay from being great and it was strange because we've stayed in multiple airbnbs and booking.coms over the years since being nomadic. 4. One thing to note is that the concierge doesn't exactly speak English and because of that there are a lot of miscommunications involved. Also you can tell they won't go above and beyond for service. 5. The place doesn't come with the ski depot lockers and parking. Ski depot cost per day was about 24 Liras and parking was 50 Liras per day. The staff seemed really annoyed to help figure this out. Payment is cash only upon arrival, excepting Lira or USD. For the price of this place, compared to other options available, you won't be getting a luxurious day but you'll be getting a comfortable, warm, and lacking necessities apartment.
