Lovely cosy cottage. Decor and facilities were great. Good food available at nearby (3 minute walk) at local hotel and cafe. Great location & friendly neighbours. Good communication with the host and lovely welcome basket on arrival.
Would have been better if the garden was enclosed for the dog (shared with next door)

The situation was good and car parking was available opposite the house.
The upstairs had no toilet facility. There was no dishwasher. The television did not show any BBC or ITV programmes I don’t think there was a tv licence. Also the back garden was not enclosed from the neighbours garden.

Warm, cosy, beautifully decorated, private parking, great neighbour, quiet and clean.
We loved watching the ebb and flow of the River Nith from bed in the morning.
We loved it all but you need a car.
