The property was located a few mile away from where we were attending a friend's wedding, it was in the perfect location, just on the outskirts of New Abby. Although by the main road traffic noise was at a minimum. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very very well equipped, with just about everything you could think of. The garden was also well kept with outside seating you the side. Would we go back 100%

Lovely and very well appointed house. Cosy but deceptively spacious. Very clean and well equipped in anything one may need. Dog friendly with a lot of essentials for the dogs provided. Beautiful view to the Criffel. Good base for exploring Dumfriesshire and east Galloway.
This is rather picky but the dining area was a bit small - there were 5 of us and I do not think it would take a 6th person. I would like a full size mirror perhaps in the hall.

Very comfortable cottage. Well maintained & equipped. Great view of Criffel. Log fire was a bonus.
