Une des plus belles vues du Valais depuis la terrasse. Très belle transformation d'une ancienne grange. Idéal pour 2 couples, dont un bien souple. La place de stationnement privée est très appréciée. Le père du loueur vous reçoit, il est extra, il a construit le chalet et peut aussi expliquer beaucoup de choses sur le val d'Herens et la Grande Dixence (reportage RTS "Dans les entrailles de la bête", c'est lui qui explique).
L'accès voiture (bonne voie partiellement goudronnée, mais voie unique) est parfois un peu compliqué, les valaisans sont chez eux et pratiquent peu volontiers la marche arrière. La mezzanine est très basse de plafond, il faut être (très) souple pour y dormir. Octogénaires s'abstenir. Petit manque d'intimité, la seule porte intérieure est celle de la salle de bain.

Nous cherchions un endroit d’un calme absolu avec une vue saisissante. Chez le petit Jean a répondu parfaitement à nos désirs. Habitués des locations de vacances, rares sont les hébergements dans lesquels nous avons trouvés des équipements aussi complets autant pour la cuisine que pour pour l’extérieur (transats, etc.). Bravo! Tout est vraiment bien pensé et réfléchi pour que les hôtes ne manquent de rien. L’accueil de Martial est vraiment exceptionnel.
