About this chalet rental
Our 200-year-old barn (old chalet) is surrounded by nature with a clear view of the Valais Mountains.
The outside old-look was perfectly preserved (monument conservation); the inside of the barn is renovated in a modern way. It is ideal for a break from every day life. Beautiful walking-tours (in winter with snow-shoes) are available from the front door. The barn is very suitable for couples (max. 4 adults) and for families (up to 2 adults and 3 children).
The entire barn is available (67 m2). On the ground floor are the main-entrance and the living room (25 m2), which is equipped with a wood burning stove and a sofa bed (1.40 m wide), from where one can enjoy the unique view of the mountains. A toy-box for the small guests also offers distraction. The extension in the back (10 m2) contains the storage room with washing machine and dryer as well as the bathroom with shower and WC.
On the upper floor is the dining room (25 m2), the open kitchen with a central wood heating cooking range and 2 mobile electric cooking plates, one electric oven and one dishwasher. The whole kitchen facilities with Nespresso machine, raclette oven and fondue service are available as well as a table and chairs and outdoor grill. Our natural terrace with outdoor furniture and umbrella is directly accessible from this room.
On the gallery is the “dormitory” for 4 to 5 persons (2 mattresses 1.4m on slatted bed base.
Interaction with guests
Our nice neighbour who lives in the village above hands over the keys. We are not present.
Eison la Crêttaz is easily accessible both by car and by public transport.
By car: You reach Eison La Crettaz from Sion in about 35 minutes. Public parking (free) is available.
By bus: From Sion railway station is a bus to Eison La Crettaz.
From the car park/bus stop there is about an 8 minutes walk to the barn (310 meters).

Awesome Cabin, very cosy, all stocked up with wood, linnen and all you might need (except food :D) Check-in and out was super simple and friendly. Walk from the car is a bit of a stretch but its worth it.

Die Unterkunft lässt keine Wünsche offen: Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtete Räume, Spiele für drinnen und draussen für die Kinder sowie Tragerucksack, Hochstuhl etc. Super Ausgangslage um das Val d‘Herens zu erkunden. Bei Sonnenschein haben wir die Naturterasse genossen und bei Regen die Holzöfen eingefeuert und das „Naturkino“ hinter den grossen Fenstern auf dem Sofa bestaunt.

Wir haben uns in der liebevoll eingerichtet Grange sehr wohl gefühlt und die Ruhe und die herrliche Aussicht genossen!
