Full facilities. Kitchen was clean and stock with useful item. Old fridge. Laundry facility. Bedding appeared clean. White towel was clean. Toiletries are well stocked. Hot water is good.
Overall, this is super value. I stayed for 3 nights in Sep 2025. I wouldn't mind staying here again r recommend to other especially if the issues ("didn't likes") are resolved.
Unit was occupied when I tried to check in at 6 pm. Apparently,.the last guest extended the stay but the owner didn't tell me or assigned the wrong unit and I had the access codes to the door. Owner provided another unit fairly quickly. Owner and manager should double-check units before providing them to guests. In Texas, entry into occupied personal space is an issue and can be met with violence. I hope they cycle through with new codes.
Floors seriously need mopping. Bathtub can use a scrub down. Don't walk around with your bare feet.
Rugs could really use a laundering. Many dirty spots. I am sure a 15-minute TIDE detergent soak would have fix that.
Booking indicated wifi, but the wifi SSID did not exist. I asked the manager and owner a few times but no ssid was ever provided. I used my phone's data plan. Again, no big deal unless you really need internet broadband.
Avoid using the red towel. It had a hint of mildew. Needs better sanitization.
There was one cockroach seen roaming (the long type). This is no big deal.
For the reasons above, I can't give this a 5 star. However somewhere between 3 or 4 would be fair. This place is still excellent value -- just make sure the owner gives you the correct unit number if you are booking it.
