Tranquil Studio in Pangrati Athens Center

Dimitri is a wonderful host, highly communicative and most importantly thoughtful on how he approaches hospitality service from specific details eg brand new cleaning supplies, extremely spotless flat done by professional cleaners, extra towels and pillowcases ( much appreciated due to scorching weather hence more frequent showers!) and even early check in and late check out without any extra charge. There is also a first aid kit equipped with assorted bandages, gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, medical tape, ointments etc. Overall, the fiat is fully equipped with a kitchenette to make meals and washing machine with basic amenities which I find absolutely brilliant. I personally love the area of Pagrati for its central location and hype; it’s a vibrant, multifaceted Athens neighbourhood with historic significance, high culture, and modern urban lifestyle, Archelaou Street is close by, a culinary strip famous for indie coffee shops, with major tourist attractions within 15-20 minutes of walking distance, with major transportation links. The good news is that the flat is truly tranquil, far enough from the noise and hustle and bustle of the city centre yet close to the heart of the city capital.

Nothing to do with the flat per se, but rather a separate comment on the musty smell of the building, possibly caused by trapped moisture, hidden mold, plumbing issues, or poor ventilation. This is a building management issue that needs to be addressed with tenants/ landlords. Please bear in mind the flat is on an uphill road, quite steep/ narrow, and there are several stairs to climb, may not be easily accessible for families with young children or elderly people etc.

Ottima, molto pulita e centrale. L'host ha fornito precise indicazioni su come arrivare ed entrare nell'appartamento (siamo arrivati all'una e mezza di notte), si è interessato che tutto andasse bene ed è stato sempre molto disponibile. L'appartamento non è in mezzo al casino del turismo soffocante ma risulta centrale per qualsiasi spostamento e si trova in una zona tranquilla e vicina a tutto a piedi. Intorno si trovano tutti i servizi principali, market, ristoranti, fermata bus. L'appartamento ha tutto il necessario, anche per cucinare (da buona italiana!!). Il letto è comodissimo e lavatrice, tv e wifi funzionano perfettamente. L'aria condizionata funziona ottimamente. Il balconcino è carino. Siamo molto contenti e soddisfatti e se ricapiteremo ad Atene ci torneremo! Top! :)
