Castello Poggiarello

There were only 4 apartments so it was lovely and quiet with unlimited access to the swimming pool, the property was authentic and the setting in the vineyard was amazing.

A couple of more fans in the apartment would have been good.

It is a truly amazing place to visit if you are traveling around Toscana and/or Siena. We stayed here for two days and had such a great time. The rooms are very spacious (it is basically a part of a Castle!) and has very nice surroundings. The breakfast should be arranged before your arrival, but you will NOT regret to have this great chance to experience local and organic food they serve with care. But most of all, we really enjoyed the castle tour, which by the was is FREE, followed by wine tasting. Yes, the castle is basically winery and they make outstanding collection of wines!! We bought 12 bottles from there with a big smile. The tour will tell you about the history of the castle, the wine making, and very nature friendly gardens. The host and the tour guide they were very friendly and eager to help us all the time of or stay. I really thank to them and will visit again whenever we travel around Toscana!! Oh lastly, my kids really loved the place and the tour as well!!

Just one small thing. It was a bit hard to get there because my google map could not find the right address. I recommend the host to put this link : https://maps.app.goo.gl/GnrWXMt9NTTbtXrA9?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy. Then it would be far easier to find this wonderful place!!
