Relais Borgo Di Toiano

Tuscan landscape, rich and delicious breakfast, everything superlative.

Just a warning, they don't have a restaurant for dinner(just pre order...)but there are very good ones within a 5 minute drive.

Beautiful place, with nice swimming pool looking over vineyards. Quit place and close to Siena (20min by car) and other places worth visiting. There is a really good restaurant close by (1km).

The highlight of our stay was definitely the pool, it has amazing views. Perfect place for relaxation during a hot summer day. Breakfast was nice, selection of savory (eggs, cheese, salami)& sweets. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Bathroom could do with a bit of update but not a big deal.

The rooms were spacious and the bed comfortable. The view of the valley was outstanding. The pool area was a nice respite from the heat. Our room had an outside patio area to sit in. The breakfast was good. The staff was pleasant. The remodel of the estate in the 1990’s was done very well. All you would expect for the hills of Tuscany. Spacious on-site parking, which is rare and exceptionally nice to have.

When we arrived the Wifi was not working. In fact it never did work at all the two nights and three days we were in property. Usually it’s not a problem, but we had other reservations and tours to respond to and could not do so. First we were told that it was just that day and then a few sentences later it had been down for a week. In today’s environment, that can be a problem. Our shower stall had a lot of mold and other stains in it. That part was not acceptable for me. I can do old, no problem. Not clean is a completely different story.
