Everything about this property was simply fabulous. Our host, Esther who looked after us and cleaned our room. Everyone was uber friendly. And of course their three wonderful dogs Luna, Ginger and Gerrard. The location was great, nice and quiet, and just a short stroll down to the beach. Walking through the village to the beach was a highlight, all the local people were so so friendly, and the yuk tuk ride back up was an awesome experience. We would book again in a heartbeat. We will definitely be back to Kendwa, and we'd definitely return to secret garden villa.
Our stay was too short. We had to say goodbye to the dogs.

I liked the location and how hospitable the host and her team were. They helped us navigate Nungwi Town with ease.

We had such a wonderful stay here! We spent five full days at the apartment and really enjoyed our time. The apartment itself was very nice, and we especially loved the beautiful garden. The host was incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. We are two 19-year-old girls and this was our first trip to Africa, so we were a little nervous and excited at the same time. The host helped us so much by organizing and planning things for us and always making sure everything went smoothly. Whenever we needed help or had a question, she was there for us. The communication with her was also very easy and we always felt well taken care of. We had a really lovely experience and would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you so much for making our stay so special! ❤️

We loved the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the property. The house was very clean and comfortable, and the beautiful garden was definitely one of our favorite parts. We especially enjoyed the green area in front of the house, which was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The host was also very kind and always available to help. The location is great, just a short distance from the beach.
There was nothing we really disliked about the property. Everything was as expected and we had a very pleasant stay.
