I am lost for words when it comes to this property, let me just say, fabulous. The hosts are the custodians of this great piece of history, Francesca's family have lived here for more than six generations, and she, her husband Mario, and her mother loved telling us about their history. Breakfast was such a treat, prepared by Mario with local delicacies and his homemade pastries, well just yummmm.

It was an unforgettable experience. We are a family travelling from China. The hotel owner Francesca was exceptionally thoughtful and printed a Chinese introduction to the castle for us, given that very few Chinese visitors come to this small town. The breakfast was delicious as well; the cheesy scrambled eggs made by Mario were the best meal we had during our trip to Italy. We hope to come back here again sometime soon.
