Villa Elaia

The location was perfect, far enough up the hill from the town/beach for peace and quiet but not too far to walk. The view from the apartment was stunning, especially at sunrise. The apartment itself was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The garden was ideal for lounging and eating outside. The pool within the garden was beautifully clean and warm and there were plenty of sun loungers with shade. The gate locks to the garden pool area were so useful if you have young children as they couldn't access the pool and garden.

We loved it all and have booked again for the same time next year.

Everything was great, rooms are as in the description, we had one apartment on the ground floor and one up with a view. Both clean and spacious, with air conditioning, wi fi, grill, a small kitchen, the basic things you need for a stay. If you are with kids i recommend a ground floor room, cause they have their own room and not sleep on the couch. There is parking for each apartment and the pool is for everyone staying in the villa, but it’s very clean and cozy. The beach is about 10 minutes away on foot. The owner is very nice and quick to respond and you get clear instructions of how to get in, very easy. There are supermarkets near by and a lot of good restaurants: Da Nello - Pasta and Pizza (also if you want great see food), Fermento Pizzeria (amazing Pizza), Coffetteria Torretta (for gelato, coffee and deserts). You can also go up to the castle for a nice evening dinner and a view, but make sure to make a reservation. Pompei and Herculaneum are about one and a half hours away with car. We also went to visit the greek temples in Paestum, a less known attraction, but very nice. We did a 4 hour boat trip to a small island for snorkeling with Roberto, which was a highlight for the kids. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Das gesamte Anwesen ist ein Traum, auch wenn die Appartements etwas in die Jahre gekommen sind. Garten und Pool wunderbar.

Wir hatten das kleinste Appartement im Dachgeschoss und man musste sich beim Schlafengehen schon sehr verrenken, wegen der starken Dachschräge. Die Küchenausstattung ließ zu Wünschen übrig. Dafür hatten wir aber den tollsten Ausblick.

A szálláshely környéke elfogadható volt, közel volt a város sétálóutcája kb 10-15 perc gyalog, ami nagyon hangulatos volt. A gépkocsi parkoló jól használható volt. A medence és környéke szépen rendben volt tartva.( bár a medencében potyogtak le a csempék)

Wifi volt, de az internet olyan gyenge volt, hogy csak a telefonom internetjével tudtam dolgozni. Az ágyak matraca gyenge minőségű szivacs volt. (ami számomra fontos, mert 65 évesen fontos a jó alvás)Nagyon kevés szabad villany dugalj volt. Nappali 1 db hálószobákban 1-1 db. Ha figyelembe vesszük, hogy négy főnek telefon, laptop, ICOS töltő hm....., konyha szegényesen felszerelt. A legnagyobb csalódás azonban az volt, hogy mielőtt lefoglaltam a szállást írásban rákérdeztem, hogy valóban a képeknek megfelelő a kilátás, amire azt a választ kaptam, hogy még annál is szebb!!!!! Na a valóságban a tengeri kilátás az volt, hogy a nappalival szemben házak és egy domboldal volt és csak részleges oldalkilátás volt a tengerre. Érkezés után kaptunk egy sms-t, hogy rendben van e minden, írtuk a kilátással kapcsolatos csalódottságunkat, amire nem is válaszoltak. A kijelentkezés előtti napon szintén írtunk sms-t, hogy mi a teendőnk, mert korán indulunk a repülőtérre? Erre sem válaszoltak. Egy kicsit átverve érzi magát az ember, ami sajnos rányomja a bélyegét a nyaralásra......
