The house was spotlessly clean. The host responded quickly. The gas stove was in working order. (After this place, I stayed at two other places, but both had no gas and I had to ask them to refill it.) It has good transportation access and is close to the market. You can enjoy an atmosphere close to nature.

It was very humid, and I felt like mold would grow if I didn't keep the air conditioner or fan running constantly. There was no Wi-Fi and no hot shower.

　The garden is spacious. There are benches and tables outside, so you can relax outdoors. It's close to the national highway, about a 2-minute walk, yet it's quiet, probably because it's surrounded by trees. 　I'm sensitive to scents, but the sheets and other items had almost no detergent smell, and the house was probably built more than ten years ago, so there was almost no smell of building materials, which made me feel at ease. 　Having a water heater (both hot and cold) was more convenient than I expected. Also, having hangers was helpful. Being able to use the two-burner gas stove was a plus.

There was no hot shower, so it was quite cold, and the lack of Wi-Fi made it difficult to communicate with people. I later installed mobile data, but I felt the signal was somewhat weak in that area. I think it's good for people who want to distance themselves from their smartphones. 　I noticed the toilet flush was a bit weak, and the sink seemed to clog easily. Heavy rain also made me a little uneasy. Although, these are fairly common issues in homes in the Philippines.

Located in Bacong, near the city of Dumaguete and Sibulan airport. Short distance to Dauin for beach, snorkel and trips to Apo. Close to road to Valencia for waterfalls. Nice front and back porch. Owners helpful and attentive providing drinking water, garbage collection and some toiletries. Easy to reach through message. Still new in renting the place for tourists.

Bedsheets not matching, mattresses thin and old, the property is not properly fenced and people can enter the premises to cut bamboo early morning, not cemented road and very narrow for big cars to reach, not clean enough (windows, curtains, mosquito nets), dimm lights in rooms, limited kitchen utensils, no mirrors in comfort rooms, the garden wasn’t well maintained until we ask for it… In general, the price is high for what you get: the place has filipino standards, not western.
