Great location to discover Durness and surrounding area!
The cottage spread a very cosy atmosphere! Our kids loved the nostalgic video recorder during the storm. Well equipped kitchen with some useful items. Most relaxing sleep! Great accommodation to walk to Durness beach, Balnakeil beach or other places.

Really nice cottage and good location for Cape Wrath trip
Lovely little cottage, well equipped kitchen, comfy bedrooms and living room. We wanted somewhere to visit the smoo cave and cape wrath from and it’s location was perfect for that.
Not the property really but the village. There’s no longer anywhere to eat on an evening within walking distance, as the restaurant at the campsite has closed. The Smoo Cave Hotel is a couple of miles away and didn’t look appealing. There are no inside cafe’s except the Cocoa Mountain at the craft centre. There are day time burger, toastie and chip vans but you need ok weather to sit outside and use them.

Enjoyed Durness, but wouldn’t rebook this property.
Bed was comfy and shower was clean
Could have been cleaner. Washing machine still had Last guests dirty laundry in it. No garden to speak of, just a small courtyard.

Great week away
Great communication . Very clean. Great shower Comfie bed Facilities in kitchen very good. Lovely location, 5 minutes walk to stunning beaches and shop. Car parking outside house. Great area for walks.
Only down fall there is no garden but there is a wee concrete area to use at the sides of the house.
