We booked on "room only" basis, however there was a fully-equipped kitchen area which enabled us to prepare our own food. Location was central to the small community of Durness. I should also add here that, after we had departed, the host contacted us to say that we had left an item of clothing (very new) behind. After a telephone conversation, he offered to post it to our home address and pay for the postage!
There were no instructions regarding the operation of the oven, which, due to its age, was not similar to one of the more modern types.

Log burner & close enough to walk to beach
Cottage could do with some TLC, curtains throughout property could do with being replaced, back door you can see daylight through the bottom, mouse trap sitting behind back door 😳Yale lock loose, oven door needs cleaned,bathroom wall needing painted, bathroom freestanding mirror rusted, bottom of kettle needing descaled,outside area could do with being tidier & bins outside dining room window not a good look.
