I couldn’t get hot water for the shower

There nothing to like over here, property owner should look into basic facilities like wash room lock, which is getting struck, my wife got stuck inside and struggle a lot to open the lock, at the time of guest entry someone should personally assist which is a necessary, bed sheets were torn and which is totally unacceptable, I only give my feedback to improve on all this immediately, so that others should not get into same situation, I travelled many places and no ware I had such issue except this accommodation of Florance. It totally un worth of using this facility.

The host has to many requirements, basically there is a rule for everything

The room was quite large and comfy bed.

The bathroom door was difficult to open and close. You're spending 3-4 minutes jiggling a key to open/close it. The wifi never worked.

Location: walkable to the city centre and bus stops in less than a minute Very quiet area Bathroom always clean

The room could be a little bit small if you're travelling with someone else or you have large suitcases The lock sistem in the door is very simple Room can have a little bit of improvement, like the position of all the stuff If is summer and you can't sleep with noise, the ac could be a problem

I stay here for 6 days, and I got room no 1, here are whats I experienced 1) General. It is more like house than hotel, it has several room and two bathroom. The place is near the bus station and about 20 minutes on walk from the center, along the way there are numerous restaurant and supermarket. 2) The room. Neat, tidy, and spacious ( see the figure I attach), has balcony and air conditioner, which is very nice during the summer in the florence. It does not have soundproof so if you sensitive about that then its not for you but if you want to have a new experience then its worth to try. Regarding the low rating, I assume they got the room on the attic which I think the cheapest one so take a good look when you are book. 3) the bathroom/toilet. This hotel have two shared bathroom, the big one ( very spacious with bathub) and the small one. Both of them are clean 4) Check in. I know that numerous people complaining about the check in procedure. However, since its a self check in, i think its a safest way from the prespective of owner. She will contact you via whatsup and you just have to provide the info, and city tax receipt ( this tax is normal in touristic place). If you done that then she will give an instruction how to check in. 5) check out. It is very clear and written on every possible place that you just leave the key and cant let your luggace at the hotel once you check out there is a information about the place for it around the city center. 6) in my experience I found the owner is not rude like most people compain, what i did it just explain nicely and everything went smoothly

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The room was cold and the air conditioner didn't work. There's no snack bar, no vending machines, even though they’re listed. Huge security issue: the same key opens every room. Any guest can unlock any door. Confusing check-in and check-out. It took us minutes to figure out how to enter the building. Leaving was also unclear – we were told to pull a red string that simply didn’t exist. Furniture is old and falling apart. There’s a stand where water should be available – but it was empty the entire stay. One shared microwave that barely works – the plate doesn’t spin. No cups or glasses anywhere. Wi-Fi is terrible. Only one small, freezing bathroom for 6 rooms. For this price and being far from the city center – it’s a total rip-off. Absolutely not recommended. 1/10.
