Fully Refurbished 3 bed Victorian Cottage in Tolleshunt D'Arcy

Thank you for the tea, coffee, milk was really appreciated. The house has a perfect layout.

The shower, bath taps could be upgraded to work efficiently in the main bathroom. The shower room was perfect.

Easy access with the door code, very clean and tidy house.

Lack of full curtains meant light into the night. We slept with the window open and road was noisy with traffic. This was our choice and fans were provided so not a full negative, just for info for next guests.

Craig and Fi couldn't do enough to support our stay, above and beyond expectations, even moving a mattress when requested, despite it being the England World Cup match at that time!! The cottage was totally home from home, down to a pint of semi skimmed in the fridge, and the freezer was a godsend!! The bath and shower rooms, with their accompanying toilets, were spotless - thoroughly inspected by the OCD guest. The linens and towels supplied were of superior quality, and the supply of toilet paper was more than adequate. When requested, 2 fans were supplied against the July heat for the bedrooms! The patio and chairs were so comfortable, great for outdoor dining and games. Craig apologised for no umbrella but said why. So caring! The two packs of cards came in handy, and with our own Rummikub, we were happily entertained in the evenings. The double mattress wasn't as supportive as "P" liked nor the single room one, BUT the single was swapped when requested. The upstairs bathroom bin was small for 3 women's use. There were a few cobwebs with long legged spindly spiders in residence, but we left them alone, and they did us ☺️. The previous guests broke the patio umbrella, and Craig was sorry they hadn't had time to replace it.

None of our party smoke but we noticed the lidded bowl on the garden table was full of cigarette butts. The freezer had food in it which the owner collected promptly once made aware.
