CIA - Marais-Les Halles Residence

The apartment is very nice exactly like on the photos. It is very spacious. The location is very nice. We enjoyed the area and its very close to the Louvre.

The only minus is that there is one bathroom.

This was the perfect location for us. Easy to get to where we wanted to, plenty of places to eat nearby, metro next door, lockers and a supermarket.

We couldn’t get in to drop our bags at the time suggested. The key wasn’t in the safe and we didn’t know the flat number to buzz.

Die Lage ist fantastisch. Die Lage ist herausragend. Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich. Es gibt einen großen Parkplatz direkt gegenüber der Wohnung und eines der größten Einkaufszentren von Paris. Es sind die bekanntesten Sehenswürdigkeiten von Paris zu Fuß zu erreichen oder in 15 Minuten mit der Metro. Es gibt Bars und Restaurants für Monate wenn man alle ausprobieren will im Umkreis von 10 Minuten.

Die Lage ist für Fans von Städtereise. Erholung bekommt man hier nicht wirklich ;-)

It was clean and modern and close to train station.

They gave cushions for pillows to sleep on (not large European pillows, but tiny decorative cushion size), washing machine but no clothes drying rack to dry clothes, Front door is unsafe and very tricky to open, only one key provided and key is required to leave the apartment so if there is a fire it is unsafe. One of the lounge chairs was completely broken and unusable. The front cover of the dishwasher was missing and there were still holes in walls where it looked like power points were meant to be. Curtains were not long enough to cover the windows, so for sleeping and privacy it was difficult especially with bedrooms across from another multi-storey building with people able to see in. It is in a good area, however the exact location of this apartment backs onto the back of a shopping centre/train station where suspect characters linger, congregate and fought loudly nearly every night of our stay. This apartment is very new and modern, however it felt like it was not quite ready to hosts guests yet. We would have been able to see past some of these issues, however the host was just not accepting of our concerns and was quite dismissive even saying 'thats how the French sleep' when we requested actual sleeping pillows (it was definitely not our first stay in France so this was an irritating response). The broken chair was ignored so for a family, we didn't have enough sitting space in the living area when we wanted to come home and wind down.
