And with Washington, D.C. under two hours away, you can enjoy the beauty of Southern Maryland without venturing too far from the city.
Inside, you'll find a cozy and thoughtfully designed space that combines comfort with elegance. The cottage features a master bedroom with water view and a second bedroom, as well as a spacious open great room with a sofa bed. The stunning waterfront scenery is never far away - whether you’re relaxing in the living area or stepping outside, the natural beauty will surround you at every turn. You’ll also find all the comforts of home, including high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, a washer/dryer, and plush bedding to ensure you enjoy a relaxing and restful stay.
Start your day with coffee on the dock as the sun rises over the water, or enjoy the peaceful surroundings in the great room. Explore the serene beach, watch for eagles and osprey, or take a kayak out to open waters of the Chesapeake Bay. This property was beautiful. The neighbors were friendly and welcoming. The area was secluded and inside is larger than the photos. The owner was extremely responsive and we enjoyed S'mores at the fire pit as well as using the grill. Rooms were clean. Bathroom was clean. We brought games but the property has a wide selection of games. The kitchen was fully equipped. They even had seasonings for cooking. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a secluded quiet comfortable place to relax.

The location and the view were amazing! Such an abundance of wildlife! Deer, heard a fox, and the birds! Heron, ducks, geese, bluebirds, eagles- and as we were leaving found the eagle nest, next to the house as they came screeching in. Beautiful dark sky for star gazing. The house is good, beds comfy, had all the amenities and supplies. Struggled a bit with the wall heaters ended up using the portable heaters. It was a cold weekend. I agree with the other reviewer that it could use a deep clean, especially floors, corners, baseboards. The deck is a bit wonky, need to be careful with footing. But you cannot beat the location! Would love to visit in the warmer months!
