Welcome to Kuro at Paint Lake, a private oasis of cottage comfort and peaceful relaxation, in the heart of Lake of Bays.
Our property consists of two lake front well appointed cottages that offer the perfect blend of cottage living and leisure, ensuring an unforgettable getaway for groups seeking an enjoyable vacation experience. Let us guide you through the features that make this property a true gem.
ABOUT THE SPACE:
As you step into the newly renovated main cottage, you'll be greeted by a new fully equipped kitchen, that include sleek Dekton countertops, full size range, dishwasher, full size fridge, and coffee station including SMEG appliances. All designed to invite both novice and experienced chefs to create culinary delights. The dining area has room to seat up to eight people.
The living room boasts a comfortable & stylish seating arrangement including games , puzzles, books and a large smart TV, making it the ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring the surrounding nature.
Kuro can be enjoyed as a cozy winter retreat, where you can partake in fun outside activities including snowshoeing, cross country skiing, skating or snow mobiliing. In the warmer months enjoy lake swimming in pristine Paint Lake, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing or just relaxing in the sun on the dock.
**Please note** We have an additional 100 sf loft bunkie on the property (not shown) which will be made available to guests from May until October.
The cold winters are not conducive to this space, but is a great additional sleeping accommodation in the warmer months! Pictures available upon request.

Retreat to one of the four beautifully appointed bedrooms for a rejuvenating night's sleep. Each room features quality linens, soft lighting features, ceiling fans and bed linens and ambiance that exudes tranquility.
NEIGHBORHOOD:
Our cottage is centrally located to a handful of towns and local attractions. While Kuro oasis provides many comfortable amenities, local attractions are just a stone's throw away. Explore Paint lake and connect to the larger water of Lake of Bays, Dorset lookout tower, many trails for hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, local restaurants and gift shops.

The property is well kept with gorgeous views. The inside is cozy and clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was nice to cook in. It was like a home away from home. Lots of amenities and we enjoyed sitting in the sauna and hot tub after a long day of hiking. I highly recommend Kuro at Paint Lake. I would go here again.
