About this cottage rental
Enjoy a relaxing and simple getaway in a beautiful setting. Wood fired sauna and tiki hut at rivers edge.
Large adult groups will not be considered at this cottage. We cater to families with 6 adults maximum. Bylaw max is 8 people ( children under 2 not included in that total)
This custom built cottage is perfect for the large family. It features an open concept design perfect for family fun inside and out. It is situated on 5 acres of privacy on the exceptionally clean Hollow River including a beautiful Wood fired sauna and tiki hut at rivers edge.
Lots of wildlife visit the river year round. Lake of Bays is a 10 min boat ride down the river. We will even include the boat.
Hollow River has great fishing opportunities with bass, pike and perch.
Explore the quiet , peaceful and untouched environment the river offers with an early morning kayak. Rental includes paddle boats and three kayaks and a canoe.
Beautiful clean sandy swimming area with both shallow and deep swimming to suit all ages.
Large firepit for that evening gathering by the river.
Cottage features 2000 sq ft of open concept living space with a loft.
Custom kitchen includes large island with granite and two double sinks.
Dining room has a large table to fit the entire family.
Master bedroom has 4 piece ensuite with King Bed on main level.
Loft has two bedrooms and a 4 piece bathroom.
One bedroom has a queen bed. The other has two twin beds. Additional King bedroom on ground level.
There is a two piece bathroom on main level as well as a washer and dryer.
Cottage also features a large screened in porch to escape the rain or bugs if necessary.
Cottage has great cell phone reception , 50” smart Tv with Bell Expressview, unlimited WIFI
Beautiful Woodstove for those off season get aways.
The town of Dorset is only 5 mins away . It has Robinson's General Store featuring a hardware store, a grocery store and a gift shop. There is also an LCBO, ice cream parlour, and a restaurant in town.
Enjoy swimming, fishing, kayaking, camp fires, puzzles, games and a good book. Make the best memories simple ones.
Please note we have one security camera on the property that faces out of the driveway.

Beautiful property, right by the waterfront. Fully equipped with everything you would need for cottage stay. Included kayaks, canoes, two firepits. Things to note: need to bring your own bedsheets/towels, or they are available but you will need to laundry. Need to bring trash to a close by garbage dump. Dishes must be washed/dried and placed back. Very spacious and very enjoyable stay, would definitely recommend!

The neighbors are closer then in the pictures. I was not told or aware of any cameras until already there, I would have like to know that before booking and going. Had a great weekend it's a beautiful vacation spot.

We enjoyed our time at the cottage immensely! Peaceful, clean and charming! Everything you could want in a vacation! Not sure why the other review complains about the beds, we found the beds to be very comfortable and had a great night sleep. We enjoyed the spots to sit out by the water and had a great time canoeing. We will definitely be regulars!

we had a good time the house afforded room for all of us . having spices and condiments makes it easy also. only complaints were about the beds they were in rough shape , otherwise would surely endorse this house.
