About this cottage rental
Our charming coastal harborside cottage has just been completely renovated and is located in the seaside town of Clinton, CT-just steps from the marina, town boat launch, downtown, restaurants and the infamous Lobster Landing (best lobster rolls in CT!) With its whimsical, beachy vibe, the inside of the cottage is uniquely modern and incredibly functional for sleeping up to six guests. Recently updated, the cottage showcases soaring cathedral ceilings and is absolutely flooded with natural light!
The open living space features soaring shiplap ceilings with skylights and a wall of windows that floods the space with natural sunlight. A large down filled sectional anchors the space and provides plenty of room for movie night. This space peeks into the dining area with an extendable table that seats up to 6 people-perfect for dinner night or a spot to start a puzzle or play a board game! Feel free to connect to our Bose Bluetooth speaker to relax with your favorite playlist.
The brand new kitchen features stainless appliances, bright, white cabinetry and quartzite countertops. Fully stocked for preparing a home cooked meal, this sunny space opens to the large outdoor deck and a cozy breakfast nook-the perfect spot to enjoy morning cup from our coffee/espresso/cappuccino maker!
The sleeping spaces consist of a comfortable master bedroom with queen size bed, private, newly renovated bathroom with stand up shower and pocket door for privacy. On the other end of the cottage you'll find two more spacious bedrooms, one with a full size bed that opens onto the sunny deck and another with 2 twin beds and plenty of room for the kiddos to spread out. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom with tub/shower combination.
Completing the cottage is a finished basement brimming with charm & character-a second living space with TV, board games and a foosball table. Full size laundry is located here for your convenience.
The cottage features plenty of outdoor space for dining and relaxing. There are 3 kayaks (2 single & 1 double) for your use. The boat launch is at the end of the street. Stroll towards the water, the cottage is just moments to Clinton's waterfront restaurants, Rocky's Aqua, Shank's and Lobster Landing. Downtown Clinton is a short walk and Clinton Town Beach, Downtown Madison & Hammonasset State Beach Park are all a 5 minute drive. Wineries, fine dining & outlet shopping are all at your fingertips! ***PLEASE NOTE-there are 4 beach chairs located in the shed, if you require more than this you must provide your own! Clinton town beach requires the purchase of a day pass for parking a car. We provide 5 bikes and the town beach is an easy bike ride. Hammonasset Beach is a 5 minute drive and an out of state day pass can be purchased for a small fee.

The host was amazing! The home is super cute, immaculately clean and just overall charming! It was everything we needed and so much more. Great outdoor space too, with a back patio and lots of yard space. The place is decorated just perfectly! Quiet little neighborhood and walking or biking distance to the water and also restaurants. Loved our stay here and we will be back next year when we come for my nephew's wedding.

The house was as described in the description. Very clean and very pretty. Very nice house. A couple things to be aware of:1. The description says there are beach chairs at the house. What they have are two "soccer mom" chairs and a one person umbrella. If you plan on going to the beach, bring your own beach equipment. 2. The descripton says there is a lobster pot in the house and there is not. 3. The house is very close to both Hammonasset State Beach and the Clinton Town beach. What it does not tell you is that is coses 75.00 to park at the town beach if you do not have a license that shows you living in Clinton. I assume this will be true for any house you want to rent in Clinton. Hammonasset is only 22.00 to park so a much more reasonable amount.
