The Hotel is nicely situated close to the lake. The entrance to the very old building is on a busy street which is not convenient. The front desk staff were confusing but friendly not very swift.
When we were shown to our room the fun started. We booked the 50M2 room with terrace and were given a 27M2 basic room. Upon confronting we’re told the room is 50M2 and we should be happy. They then offered the same room in the other corner of the Hotel again insisting that I am stupid. The manager made it worse, as long story short were we asked / forced to leave being insulted and more in the process. I travel all over the world and am no ‘Karen’. Never have I ever experienced such rude behavior; I ended up for ½ this rooms price in the Marriot were amenities, staff and experience was great as expected. This Hotel is old, the staff rude, amenities, from my short experience will be below expectations. Avoid this hotel at any cost!
