L'appartement est très proche du centre historique. Il est aussi très joliment rénové, confortable et bien équipé.
La proximité d'un bar et d'un restaurant : nous y avons séjourné un week-end, et c'était assez bruyant. Peut-être est-ce plus calme en semaine ? Autres petits bémols : les escaliers sont très étroits pour monter les valises, et il n'y a pas de place de parking gratuite.

Emplacement de l'appartement à l'entrée du centre-ville piétonnier. Configuration de l'appartement avec 2 chambres et un séjour avec vue de côté sur la Charente. Appartement refait récemment.
Equipements très insuffisants : pas de wifi, pas de lave-vaisselle (et pas de possibilité de fermer l'évier pour faire la vaisselle), frigo beaucoup trop petit, pas de bouilloire (et même pas un couvercle de casserole pour faire chauffer l'eau !), canapé défoncé et très inconfortable (on n'imagine pas pouvoir y dormir). Accueil inexistant avec SMS anonymes et boîte à clef, à la question sur le wifi il est répondu par SMS que "personne n'a jamais demandé le wifi". Environnement très bruyant jusque très tard à cause de 2 bars-restaurants autour de l'immeuble.
