The design, facilities and location of the property were great and we have a lovely stay
The lid to the waste paper bin was broken and stayed in an open position unless something was put on top to weigh it down. The toilet roll holder was loose.
The beds were not very comfortable, but OK.

The location was excellent and surprisingly quiet considering it is is the main street of Alnwick
The beds are very small double beds, ie 4'6" wide. This is the only reason I would not use this property again, At home we have a super King size bed as my husband is over 6 foot tall so we did not find either of the double beds comfortable for 2 people. To be fair the description does say double bed and we booked at short notice so couldn't find anything available with a large double bed.

Location and facilities
The smell from the pet store next door , the hallway was smelly as soon as you enter which travelled all the way upstairs. Dirty towel left in the washing machine which smelled.
